Streak Restoration Issues
While reignite is here to help ease the process of restoring "snapstreaks" with your friends, the app is not guaranteed to recover your streaks.
As outlined here, Reignite simply automates the process of filling out Snapchat's streak restore request form available at https://spr.ly/help. Therefore, the outcome of the request is beyond the responsibility of this app or its developer.
While there are no official guidelines for these requests from Snapchat (as of writing this), I've made some observations over the years, and here are some tips to getting your requests approved every time (hint: it's 100% automated and decisions are almost always made synchronously).
- Submit your request within 48 hours of the streak's expiration
- Double-check your friend's username before submitting
- Verify that your account details for reignite match those of your Snapchat account
As long as you have done all of the above, you should have your streak reinstated right away, however this may be subject to change with time (and perhaps the popularity of this app). Your mileage may vary. Please let me know if you are experiencing further issues!
